Epping FC 3rd team play in the Mid Essex Football League, Division Three.
The 3rd team was formed to give a platform for boys to progress into mens football at 16 years of age. The side is a mix of younsters who want to progress, who want to just enjoy football and some experienced players coming towards the end of their playing careers.
It is both an enjoyable and competitive mix of players in a well run and competitive league.

Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
