UNBEATEN RUN ENDS
Epping’s unbeaten start to the season ended with a disappointing home defeat.
The home side started well with David Annobil scoring first mid-way through a physical first half. Danny Hopkins almost made it 2-0 but failed to hit the target.
The second half was all Frenford with Pat Middleburg, Mitchell Evans and Matthew Chimbambo finding the net against the hosts. The visitors first goal came from a corner and Epping heads seemed to go down when two further goals quickly followed.
Epping manager Neil Whitbread said "It was disappointing to lose our unbeaten run. They just wanted the result a bit more than we did. The hard games are coming thick and fast at the moment".
